These are lovely patterns. They are absolutely beautifull! They remind me of a morrocan or Hausa tribe traditional tattoo from Africa. It must be hardwork putting them together and I would take time out to read through your site.
Hi, I was wondering if you have ever experimented with printing techniques to get your patterns. I really like the red patterns, especially the 8 bird one.
Thanks for you comment. I would like to turn some of my finished pieces into screen prints. I agree that it would be a good idea to experiment with creating repeat patterns with printing too. What sort of printing were you thinking of?
Sarah.
I was thinking about how you can paint on one side of your surface, and then fold it repeatedly to get a pattern. I think they would work really well as screen prints too.

Thanks for your comment Anthonia. I will have a look at Morrocan and Hausa tribe tattoos, perhaps they will inspire me! Sarah.
